1st Class Artwork Inspired by Chagall

Children in 1st class learned about the French Artist Chagall as part of their Looking & Responding in Art. Having seen his work the children then produced their own pictures and stories inspired by this great artist.

Seachtain na Gaeilge

Seachtain na Gaeilge was a great success once again. Every class got involved. The children spoke Irish, recited Irish poems and sang As Gaeilge. Flag Raising Ceremony

We had our Flag Raising Ceremony on Tuesday March 15th. The children wrote and read out their own proclamations. Two children raised our national flag while second class sang the national anthem. The ceremony took place after our annual Ceolchoirm which is part of Seachtain na Gaeilge.
