Dressing up for Halloween
The children had great fun dressing up for Halloween. Junior Infants had their fancy dress parade in the hall followed by a Halloween party in the classrooms. It was all very SCARY!!!!!!……..
Attendance Awards
A number of children received certificates for attendance. These children missed no days this term. Well done everyone

We won our 2nd Green Flag!!!
June 2014: The school was awarded our second Green Flag for Energy Conservation. Kenneth Egan, Local Councillor and Olympic Silver Medalist came to raise the flag with the children. GAA in St. Mary’s JNS
This year we have a GAA Coach working with 1st and 2nd classes coaching Gaelic Football and hurling. He worked with 2nd class for 6 weeks and is currently working with 1st class. Dance with Kevin
Junior Infants, Senior Infants and First Class are doing ‘Dance with Kevin’. Kevin has been doing dance workshops with the children for the past few years and is a huge hit.
