Welcome back! We hope you had a nice mid-term. As you know 2nd class are making their First Communion this Saturday so we thought we should update you on some details
Albs:
It is parish and school policy that every child wears an alb for the First Communion. Albs can be collected on Wednesday at 1.30 in the computer room (beside the 2nd class rooms). Albs may be returned immediately after the ceremony. It is important that parents come on Wednesday to fit the Albs on the children.
Mass: 11.00 a.m. sharp
Please note the mass will begin at 11.00 a.m. sharp. The children should be in the church at 10.45a.m. at the latest. Seats to the front of the church are reserved for First Communion children and their parents. There is only room in these seats for 2 family members to sit with each communion child. There is plenty of room for other family members to sit elsewhere in the church.
Photographer: The school has arranged for a Professional Photographer to come on Monday May 16th at 9 a.m. This year all children (regardless of whether or not they made their communion) can have a school photo / communion photo taken. Parents do not have to pay in advance for photographs. Instead the photographer will give a small sample of the photo to parents. Parents who want to order a photo based on this sample can do so. You will receive more details on photos next week.
