Curious Minds Platinum Award
We are very proud to announce that we have received a Platinum Curious Minds Award for all of our hard work in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) last year. This is a very special achievement as it is only awarded to a maximum of 30 schools per year. This award also recognises the success of our coding and computational thinking project. The project’s aims were to:
- Develop pupils’ skills in coding and computational thinking
- Enhance teachers' confidence in teaching coding and computational thinking
- Increase parents' knowledge of children’s healthy and safe use of technology.
The aims of this project were achieved through the collective efforts of the pupils, staff and parents of our school community. Well done to everyone involved! Please see highlights of our STEM learning in the video below.
