First steps in developing our Creative Plan

Together with Clodagh we will devise a Creative Plan. This plan is unique to our school so that we can foster creative learning in a way that suits the needs and wishes of our staff and children.

In the Creative School’s Project the voice of the child is paramount. We have just begun the Understand Phase of the project. The Understand Phase is a very important part of the project because it enables us to reflect on our current achievements and begin imagining our creative dreams for the future. Through a series of workshops, we will find what the children believe is important for them, we will listen to their voices, hear their ideas, and learn what they would like included in their school’s Creative Plan. We also want to connect with the families of the children and the local community so that our Creative Plan reaches out to the children’s wider world.
