Green Schools Day of Action
We had a very successful Green Schools Day of action this month. The children on the Green Schools Committee planned a fun day to celebrate all of the hard work done on our litter and waste flag to date. In assembly, children from the committee reminded us the importance of reducing, reusing and recycling. Everyone was asked to wear green for the day and we said our Green Schools motto as a whole school. We also had a whole school Kahoot quiz which the children really enjoyed. Well done to Ms. Tyrrell's class on being our quiz winners! In addition, Recycle IT collected our electrical recycling on the day. Thank you to all who contributed to the collection.
We also made sure our school was being kept safe and clean. Some classes went litter picking in the school grounds and the parent's committee kindly volunteered to clean up our school garden. Thank you to all involved!
