Our Junior Infants went on a great adventure to Newbridge House and Farm today. Their teachers were so proud of all the boys and girls on their first ever school tour!
There was lots of cheering and singing this morning as we set off on our double decker bus. We even passed a few planes landing and taking off from Dublin Airport which was very exciting.
On the farm, everyone loved spotting the different animals including rabbits, goats, sheep, pigs, horses and alpacas! We made friends with a curious peacock who loved when the kids copied his call. We saw tractors in the fields and some of the homes the animals slept in.
After a well deserved picnic and some treats, the boys and girls had a blast playing with bubbles before heading back to the bus.
Junior Infants should be very proud of themselves as we all are here at St. Mary's Junior NS.
