Last Week we celebrated our First Literacy Week in St Mary's Junior School. Children enjoyed different activities including Literacy Trails, Procedural Writing for making pancakes, Literacy games, exploring Literacy apps on Ipads and celebrating World Book Day by bringing in their favourite book. Children had great fun exploring the outdoor classroom and garden also, discussing and writing about the signs of spring. We celebrated the end of the week with a disco on the yard. We are all looking forward to Literacy Week next year.
