The Collinstown Park School Completion Programme is a programme that supports students in attending school, focusing on completing school, get involved in class and school activities and getting the most from education. Emma Kiernan is the Collinstown Park SCP Co-ordinator. Yvonne, Ciara and Emma are our part time project workers who facilitate several workshops, groups and programme as part of the School Completion Programme.
School Completion Programme funded Laura Walsh to engage students in a programme called ‘Wellbeing through Music’. Laura also facilitated some music therapy sessions this academic year too. Our students thoroughly enjoyed working with Laura and sang a lovely song with Laura at the official opening of the garden.
We were delighted to see the re-commencement of afterschool clubs post Covid-19 restrictions. School Completion Programme fund the afterschool clubs which took place over term three on Mondays. We hope afterschool clubs will continue next academic year. Well done to all those who participated.
