TAP Drama Workshop #5
It was all go for today's TAP workshop with Margaret and Ms. Hogan's Junior Infants. We had lions, we had scarecrows, we had Dorothy's, we had a few different versions of Toto the dog, one good witch and one wicked witch of the North! The children took to getting in role as the characters of the Wizard of Oz brilliantly and with a bit of magic, some chaos, and fun mixed in we performed the first few takes of our action poem "A GIRL, HER DOG, AND A WINDY FOG" recorded by our resident artist and magic moment creator, Margaret Callan Bergin accompanied on ukelele by her daughter Lucy. I think you can tell the children enjoyed this new experience. We are very proud of the children for using their unbelievable imaginative skills, embracing the unknown, using their teamwork skills, and not being afraid to just give it a go!
Sadly our 6th and final workshop with Margaret will take place this week. We have had an absolute ball having Margaret and her skills in shining a light on our classroom of talented, imaginative, and creative kids! Stay tuned to see the final performance of our action poem by Ms. Hogan's Junior Infant class....
