Mr. O'Mahony's 2nd class were building towers using only newspapers and tape. The challenge was a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) activity where the group with the tallest tower were the winners. We looked at famous towers around the world beforehand to see what would be important when designing our own towers. It certainly looks like there are some future engineers and architects in 2nd class.
