Unwanted clothes collection
As part of our Green Schools initiative, we will be having an unwanted clothing collection in school over the next couple of weeks. If you have any unwanted clothes at home, we would love if you brought them into school for our collection. Please ensure all items are clean and fit for re-wear. The clothing will then be collected by Clothes Pod and transported for re-wear and recycling. The company will also weigh and price the clothes, and any money raised through the clothes collection will be donated to aid for those in Ukraine. This is a great opportunity for the children to learn about recycling and reusing to limit waste. It’s also a good opportunity to clear out some space in your wardrobe! The last day for bringing in clothes is Thursday 26th May.
Accepted items: General clothing, sheets, shoes in pairs, blankets, curtains
These items will NOT be accepted: duvets, pillows, carpets, any soiled or wet items, toys
Thank you for your support,
